Businesses And Patrons

Dear Prospective Sponsor,

The Brothers of Delta Epsilon Psi would like to invite you to support Project Come Together, an unprecedented event benefiting Austin’s youth, encouraging diversity, while reinforcing UT campus unity.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your business to demonstrate your passion for the college community by supporting an event that honors our future leaders of tomorrow and showcases this city’s prestigious University. Your organization’s name will be displayed prominently at the largest service event held on campus. Your business will be visible to more than 50,000 students who share UT’s campus and all of the children, parents, and teachers that attend.

On Friday April 27th, 2012 we will transform Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium and its surrounding area into an ecstatic fair ground, hosting a large concert and a carnival full of rides, games, booths, and concessions for our 13th Annual Project Come Together. We hope that your organization can assist us in the funding of this celebration.

The University of Texas is a worldwide renowned nucleus of unrivaled diversity and cultural variety. Project Come Together has grown to encompass all student groups around campus and the community in this project, and thus far is the largest on-campus service event in UT history. This year, Project Come Together will continue its mantra of diversity and harmony. Over 4,000 underprivileged children from 25 low income elementary schools will arrive to UT campus on school buses and arrive to heart and soul of UT, the DKR - Texas Memorial Stadium. They will be greeted by over seventy student organizations which will each host their own booth or station (i.e. dunking booth, face painting, bean bag toss, basketball shootout, moonwalk, and twister), while promoting themselves and the University. The children will then be served a light lunch and entertained by various local artists, educational troupes, and positive law enforcement groups. There will also be a number of UT Athletes and local media (FOX, Austin American Statesman, Daily Texan) on site to sign autographs and interact with the children.

This event rewards those elementary school children in the Neighborhood Longhorns Program who have demonstrated exemplary scholastic aptitude and maintained near perfect attendance with a day of fun, food, and games. Our goal is to bring the UT student community together for a single day of unified service and encourage these children to work hard in school and give them a positive outlook on college and its atmosphere.

Thank you for your time and we hope you will support this extraordinary endeavor in whatever capacity is available.

Sincerely,
The Brothers of Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc.
